These professionals are trained to help clients overcome barriers to individual success, gain insights to their behavior, and increase motivation. Additionally, they provide their clients with accountability, education, resources and support.
Health Coaches are trained to treat the whole person knowing that being healthy is more than just eating a healthy diet and exercising. They understand that overall health is dependent on other wellness areas such as Emotional, Spiritual, Intellectual, Occupational, Environmental, Social, Financial as well as Physical Fitness. As a result, they focus on supportive relationships, work/life balance, decreasing stress, life transitions, coping with emotions, depending on the client’s needs.
